Ricovr Healthcare Awarded NIH Grant to Advance Development of Point-of-Care Cannabis Screening Platform
Ricovr Healthcare secures NIH grant to develop XALIVA®, an innovative cannabis screening device, aiming to
Breakthrough technology and an innovative design combine in the first truly portable saliva-based rapid-results testing device.
From recent use Cannabis (THC) detection to point-of-care diagnostics, XALIVA is a revolutionary testing platform.
Employers, law enforcement, and healthcare systems need faster, actionable data, XALIVA solution makes a bold departure from current technologies into nanoparticle detection.
A new way to conduct rapid onsite testing with easy-to-use, accurate saliva-based testing.
XALIVA is designed to be your onsite screening tool for rapid-results testing with true portability and ease-of-use
With advances in testing technology, saliva is the future for fast, non-invasive testing for employers, healthcare systems, and law enforcement. This is because salivary gland ducts are lined by a single layer of cells that allows free flow between blood and saliva, making the two similar for testing purposes.
Through powerful nanoparticle analysis, testing traditionally conducted via invasive blood draws or urinary sample collection and sent out for processing is can now be done through saliva via rapid-results testing.
Saliva is widely acceptable and used for multiple diagnostic medical tests. For example, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends saliva for the diagnosis of HIV Type 1 infections.
There is an unmet need for better drug testing for Recent Cannabis Use and saliva is quickly becoming the preferred detection method due to speed, accuracy, and ease of testing.
Our workflow takes 3 simple steps & provides results in about 15 minutes
Collect Saliva with a special Swab
and collection tube
Connect collection tube with XALIVA THC Cartridge
Slide cartridge into the Xaliva THC Reader
and run the automated test
